It is for me and my family, for years, the best seafood restaurant in southern France and with an excellent service. if they love an excellent plateau de fruits de mer, it is the place to go, always served fresh. the fish. the foods are also excellent and you should try a local white wine with it, top restaurant and service.
Run by two ladies, I think one waits and the other cooks. We've been going a few years and it always good. The lady-in-waiting has a good sense of humor, adding to the enjoyment.
My husband and I were in lovely Cassis and went to have lunch at Le Canaille for lunch. It was so fun. Sat and looked at the water, watched people walk by, while eating pasta with fresh shrimp and fish. Not, to mention a great...bottle of Cassis rose wine. Service was nice and they didn't rush you out of the place Very relaxing.
Nice place and we were running late for our reservation. They called us to confirm and kept it for us. During summer you need to park outside town so take timing into consideration. Reservations essential during peak season. CCs accepted. Service was very slow with...only staff which was disappointing. Seafood platter was fresh and excellent.
