My experience at Antica Locanda Visconti in Somma Lombardo was terrible. From the start, the staff seemed totally disinterested and uncaring of the customers' needs. We had to wait for other tables to be served because I take orders and they serve one table at a time. As for the food, the lack of starters on the menu was a total disappointment. We could choose between starters and main courses, but the list was certainly not impressive. Also, the lack of children's options on the menu was a real surprise and a significant negative point. Expecting children to order complete dishes at the price of adults is completely unjustified and unacceptable. We opted to split a selection of cold cuts with fried dumplings and the mixed grill, which cost us a fortune, well beyond what you would expect to pay in an inn. Spending 50 euros per person for a meal that turned out to be mediocre was a blow to the wallet and the mood. Ultimately, I strongly advise against the Antica Locanda Visconti. There are certainly many other restaurants in the area that have more attentive service with better food, a more pleasant atmosphere and, above all, a less expensive bill.
