Bidra med feedbackPretty good hot pot place located right in the H Mart plaza. They have a set price for lunch and dinner, kids get a discount depending on their age. There is a good selection of soup bases but if you want different flavors they do charge you more which I thought was strange. Other hot places that I have been to give you your own personal pot and let you pick your own flavor. Soda, bubble tea, alcohol, etc also have an additional charge. There are also some additional items not included like meat skewers that you can pay extra for. For the hot pot itself, there is a good selection of meats, vegetables, tofu, noodles, really anything you can think of. To go with your hot pot meat they have a sauce bar where you can customize a sauce to your liking to eat with the meat. There is also a 2 hour limit but I don't think it's that strict. The cotton candy machine and robot waiter are both pretty cool too.
Saw this restaurant on TikTok/Instagram and have wanted to come for a while. Finally got out to dinner with my husband today and it was delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had the all you can eat hot pot. I did angus beef, rib eye and chicken as my meat. I had rice and ramen noodles. My broth with the chicken with mushrooms. And my drink was the watermelon fruit tea with the strawberry jellies mixed in.Everything was presented nicely. Lots of sauces to pick from. The only thing that was confusing was the pricing. We did the hot pot with 2 broths and thought it was $29 total for that plus whatever we added on. Each broth was considered an all you can eat entree separate of each other. So our bill came to about $90. We ate well and had multiple servings so it was definitely worth the money, I was just confused on how it all was priced out hahaThe little robot is adorable! And there’s a cash only cotton candy machine!
Our server, David, was so nice, attentive, and patient! He did a great job explaining everything and happened to get two tables of us Offline members next to each other. I got a chance to tell him more about Offline as he overheard me talking to other members. I LOVED the robot, sauce options, all you can eat, and drink options. My kids (12 13) were very satisfied and loved their souvenir drink cups. However, they were bummed that the flower shaped cotton candy machine only took cash which I didn't have on hand (though it had a credit card option that must have been out of order). Also, the floor gets slippery, so be careful!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian broth option and fresh vegetables (broccoli, various mushrooms, tomatoes, bok choy, corn, etc.)Kid friendliness: Great place for kids. Robot, long list of non alcoholic drinks, and cotton candy machine w/flower shaped candy were all a hit for my teen tween.Parking: Gets crowded quick, but you can park at the adjacent Bank of America lot, but only when they’re closed.
Saw this place on an IG post so had to try it. From the little robot at the front door, to our fantastic knowledgeable server, Nicki, to rolling out of there full as a polar bear, everything was delicious and perfect. I have eaten hotpot all over the world. This place is one of the top 5 spots! Nicki, our server, explained the whole process, ordering through the iPad, what the broths were, all the meats and accoutrements, and any upcharge on wasted food. The hotpot broths were tasty, without all the seasonings left in the broth, which can sometime be bitter. We ordered a level 3 hot bone broth and a mild. The quality of lamb, beef, and meatballs were exceptional. The veggie menu is limited, would like to see more fresh veggies available, but what they do have is really fresh and tasty. Service and delivery was so, so fast! They have an expansive sauce bar to make your own seasoning or mixture which was really nice. Plus you get free dessert or ice cream. AND they have a cotton candy machine, so make sure and try it out! We will definitely be back for more! Thanks again to all the staff at SO HOT for being kickass, especially Nicki! Oh, and the bathrooms have little mouthwash stations so you don’t walk out smelling like garlic!Vegetarian options: Entire Vegetarian section on menu, quite expansive
Had no idea this awesome place So Hot, or the whole idea of hotpot. even existed until very recently. Went with 3 other people and had an idea what to expect from Googling and looking at customer videos posted to Instagram. It 's a little pricey for dinner per person, but if you eat enough it 's worth it. It 's very much like the meat course at The Melting Pot, the broth just has Asian type spices in it. So Hot is not a fancy place, it 's kind of a hole in the wall in a strip mall. There 's also a bit of a language barrier, and it can get really loud in there too. Nothing is explained very well although the servers were very kind and prompt overall. You choose your broth first and then all the dippers (noodles, vegetables, meats, seafood, tofu, etc. from a menu on an ipad. After you choose your items, click 'send to kitchen ' and then repeat as needed. They do ask that you only order what you will eat don 't order tons and tons thinking you can cook it and take it to go, as I 'm pretty sure you can 't. There 's rice you can order one small bowl at a time and also little individual cups of blue bell ice cream too, both are included in the overall price. In hindsight I wish I 'd known to ask about the spice level of the different broths before ordering. I ordered one called Mild Mild thinking we 'd be safe and HOOOOO BOY and it was pretty dang hot spicy. There were chunks of red chili peppers in it and a big slick of some kind of chili oil floating on the top my husband 's head was sweating and my lips were burning, lol. It didn 't stop me from enjoying my food, but it did stop him from eating as much as he would have liked to. Pro tips: If you have kids with you and or if spice level is a concern, ASK a server about it before ordering your broth! Also, there are plastic bibs over near the dip area. Wish we 'd seen them as we both ended up with stained shirts, gahhh. Anyhoo, my husband is a quantity eater, so eating little bits here and there while waiting for food to cook isn 't really his thing. He likely won 't go back to So Hot but I will, maybe for lunch which is a bit less expensive. I loved the big pieces of broccoli, the delicate baby bok choy, the ruffle edged noodles and especially the thinly sliced beef, which cooks super fast. For 4 of us it was about $150 before tip.
