Mellow Mushroom - Cary

Pricey but solid vegan pizza with really good teig. the tofu is a bit muddy and inspiring, but the test is good. I usually get both because they can order different seasonings with the tofu. I think they use follow your heart cheese. make sure that you do not give butter/peacheans on the crust.

This is a vegan to meateater type of resturant, anyone can go! I go to Mellow often and everytime it is a great experience. The waiters are nice and know what veganism is. Their cashew cheese (alternative, its a vegan cheese) is gooey and delicious. Their pizza crust has simple vegan ingredients. A good variety of food choices. You can make your own pizza, and salad, and good overall service. It can be pricey, but a pizza won't be more than $20. The small is around $14 i believe. I completely recommend it!

The gluten-free Cosmic Karma is one of the best gluten-free pizzas. I under the feta for more mozzarella and it's really big cheese.

Absolutely delicious food in the Mellow Mushroom in Cary! On Friday we beat the dinner and enjoyed a great meal! The waiter informed us that we could make every pizza half and half, which was super cool of them, so we tried the Mellowterranean and the Wild in Havana (which tasted like a Cuban sandwich pizza and it was SO GOOD! . The food always tastes fresh and is excellent, so I recommend this pizza compound!

Hardly disappointed. I made pickup on Mother's Day Brunch and the pizza was incredible, especially my gluten free pizza crispy crust, beautiful bubbly cheese, really delicious. Came back tonight to show my husband and spent $70 on the most disappointing dinner in a long time. My gluten-free crust was floppy and barely boiled, the basil was missing, and the ricotta apparently mixed crispy dried oregano in which to crack less than edible. The wings were soggy, and my lemon drop was essentially all vodka with a lemon wedge. Good for some, but I enjoy a balanced drink. It was so strong that I didn't feel safe to finish my drink before I drove home. My husband's pizza was less than pleasant for him, even the crust was dry and the ranch was inflated in excess. After I promised, my pizza and wings were gluten free, I had a reaction in the restaurant. 2 stars instead of less give because previous experience was not bad and because our server tried to find out if the wings were gluten-free. Overall very disappointed and will probably not dinate again.
