Hibachi China Buffet - Cary

We went to this restaurant today food exslent they have fresh food and delicious sushi and soup ?

I visited on the weight of the good reviews. I'm not sure what they were on about now. The items that I had were universally overcooked, lacked flavor, and were barely room temperature.

Loved this place for years. Always a stop when passing through. Good memories of when we lived here and my daughter was little. We loved the coconut spicy soup!! Best chinese buffet ever!!

Absolutely horrible food was borderline not edible and the place was extremely dirty the floor had mud trampled through it as if they hosted the running of the bulls with not be back!

We went on 7/4/2024 and had the buffet for four people. A few hours later we were sick with food poisoning symptoms. I called to let them know and gave them the foods that we had all eaten so they could investigate. The manager accused me of lying and was very rude then hung up on me. I called the Wake County Health Dept and reported the issue and symptoms. The inspector contacted me on 7/8 and said she had inspected and found temp issues with the stir fry veggie, soup and grill area that likely led to the food poisoning. I called the same manager and informed her that I had received the call and asked for an apology and refund. Again, she refused to admit it and take action. She hung up on me and told me to tell whoever I want because nobody would do anything. She even denied the inspection findings despite losing numbers which is posted publicly if anyone would like to check online to verify. I hope everyone thinks twice before eating here in the future because an arrogant owner means they’ll continue having the same issues.
