Rebelion - Cartagena

Definitely my favorite place I’ve eaten at in Cartagena. So flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend, I’d give 5 stars if I could.

There are a few vegan options. But we tried all and none disappointed. Fantastic Carribean taste with friendly people serving. Just a great evening. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-10

Eating was good, the yuca with Plantain mix was delicious. service was also great. I had the only vegan option, although they call it vegetarian. I was told due to high demand they are looking to add more vegan options. cartagena has not many vegan options, but this place is good.

That was a happy accident that I stumbled on while I was looking for reason. the waitress was very friendly and helpful. they confirmed that vegetarian dishes were also vegan-friendly. However, the starters come patacons with mayonesa on the side, so do not eat that (the patacons/tostones are vegan though.) I have ordered the encocado vegetariano. it was similar to a coconut-based curry, served with rice and black eyebrows. very fresh and delicious.
