The restaurant has been under new management since before COVID, I believe. I would say the prices have increased a bit, but that seems to be the case everywhere. The food was tasty, and everything we had was delicious. The service was also good. They allow you to bring your own alcohol for just £1 per person for corkage, which keeps the bill reasonable. While the atmosphere feels like it's missing something, it appears to have been recently painted, although some areas like the bar are still closed. This was our first visit back since before the pandemic, and we plan to return, hoping for more positive experiences.

I had the best pizza I've had in a long time, and since you can bring your own drinks, it's quite affordable. The service was also excellent!

I have tried several different curries from there, and tonight I decided to see if they could prepare something a bit different that isn't on the menu. Instead of the usual chicken vindaloo, I requested a chicken tikka vindaloo along with a chili naan bread. My wife shared a mild prawn biryani with her mother. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic! The vindaloo was incredibly delicious (for those who can handle the heat) with tender pieces of chicken tikka in a fiery dark sauce, accompanied by potatoes, all perfectly complemented by the wonderful chili naan. I also tried the prawn biryani, and the flavors were outstanding. I've often been discouraged by chewy prawns in curries, but these were cooked to perfection, served with lovely rice and small cauliflowers, along with a vegetable curry sauce. The thought of their specialty jalfrezi has me eager to order that dish again very soon. So far, I truly can’t find anything negative to say about Saqui. The staff is exceptionally polite, whether taking phone orders or delivering quickly, and nothing seems too much trouble for them. I genuinely can’t wait to visit their restaurant in person to express my gratitude for making me so happy throughout the pandemic. Their food is amazing, and I highly recommend it! An easy 5 stars!
