Jess's Plaice - Carrickfergus

I love this chip shop. eating is fantastic, the owners and the staff are so friendly and helpful. so clean. I was yesterday for a broken fire that wasn't too crowded, but they had a lot of phone orders. they are so fast and efficient. I love it, jess, s plaice, if you visit the city or live it allied.

My partner and I were looking for a fishing and chip area around the Belfast area, or that would be a bit further out, but the trip worth it. we had tried and been disappointed a few more, so we tried here as we both heard positive critikens of it. Once I came in, I was greeted by the dame who took the order and the chef with a smile on her faces, and they gave me time to think comfortably. I ordered the fish sauce, a pasty, a broken burger and wobble rings. the fish and chips were perfectly cooked, and the fish glittered still and tasty. the pasty, I can honestly say, was one of the best I ever tasted with a perfect teig to fill ratio. I personally don't like broken burgers, but my friend was more than happy with it, so I'll take his word for it! Finally, the wobble rings were nice thick rings of the wobble, instead of thin rings that would disappear within the teig. overall, will definitely be back!

For a ride and a cozy walk with furbabies and we cried for fish n chips. would really recommend. that was nice to eat. I'm sure they'll call again.
