Espresso At Etc - Carrickfergus

Popped in to get some respite from the rain after a visit to the castle what we thought would be a very small tea/coffee area turned out to be a very popular tardis of a cafe. We enjoyed luxury hot chocolates and some divine chocolate shortbread, a real treasure of a find.

The snacks and sandwiches at this restaurant are delicious, and the cakes are absolutely irresistible. The atmosphere is bright and inviting, and there is also a gift shop to explore.

This is our favourite coffee shop, the staff are the best, so friendly and can’t do enough for you, they serve mainly home made food and the German biscuits are the best I’ve ever had

We have been frequenting this wonderful coffee shop for years. During our visits last year, we noticed that one of the girls behind the counter (whom we believe was the manager) was quite loud and bossy towards the other staff members in a rude manner. This detracted from our overall experience. However, we were pleased to discover that she had left around Easter time. Since then, we have returned multiple times and found that the food quality has improved greatly. The staff are all now delightful to interact with. This is our favorite spot in Carrick.

I love this cafe, friendly staff beautiful food, had order a dozen scones for my mums birthday lunch and they where amazing as always . They are well up to date on social distancing ,tables are Far enough apart , sign to ask customers to wait of all tables are full . But get in early as food can go fast.
