Far East - Carrick-on-suir

We returned here for a takeaway on a busy Saturday night but that did not effect quality or taste. Highly recommend the spicy chicken wing starter. Absolutely delicious and the spice level is just perfect. This is a big starter and represents great value for money. Would easily be split between two people if you didn't want to be too full for your mains. Excellent menu and all main dishes are always really tasty. Overall very reasonably priced for what you get.

It must be nearly 25 years ago i first went to the Far East when they where in where Roberto's are now, and back it the food was really good way better than many in dublin where i was working at the time, so i used to go there a lot back then However sadly having been here a few months back , the food has gone downhill, its soggy , loads of msg and sugar really bad service was ok , .. not particularly friendly but not bad either meat quality is poor wont be back

Very efficient takeaway service currently in operation here post Covid-19 lockdown. Makes for a very comfortable experience. Quality, flavour and freshness of the food has not suffered and, it's one of the few places that haven't increased their prices lately either. Highly recommend the beef dishes; so tender and really tasty.

Had dinner here with my partner and neither of us were impressed. The food was definitely not fresh, the meat like rubber, chips undercooked and staff not anyway friendly. Definitely won't be returning.

Ordered shredded chicken and they put sweet and sour sauce on it, this is not on the menu, yuck!! The order was incorrect and Sean got no main course, he was so hungry. We all had to give him a bit of our food and he complained that the sauces were mixed and it wasn't even nice anymore.
