La Reggia Dei Volsci - CARPINETO ROMANO

Love this place. Fantastic people, beautiful views, wonderful town. One of my favourite places in the world. Loved the wild Boar gnocchi especially, not something I'd usually order but blown away. Went there several times and kept coming back.

It was a cold and rainy day and we had some stairs to climb to get there but it was worth it all the way as we had the best lunch in the world. La Reggia dei Volsci has a great atmosphere, a stunning view and most important the best food you can imagine. The food is 100% Italian and everything is made a casa (at home) so totally fresh what more can you wish for? I can definitely recommend the antipasto with a choice of everything. The pasta was also delicious and for desert the apple crumble with vanilla sauce. Can 't wait to go back the next time I 'm in Rome!

We walked up the winding lanes to the top of the town and found this charming place. It was such a pleasure to visit in English on a slow night and the food was excellent; one of the best meals we 've had in Italy. It 's so nice to be able to ask for recommendations and learn about what we are eating and the fact that most of it comes from the nearby area. I guess this is called Zero kilometre
