Wendy's - Carpentersville

Wow. Desiccated, unsalted French fries. Overcooked, dry burger. Watered down soda. Honestly, it was all terrible. Did I mention we waited over 15 minutes for this delicious meal? One family waiting in line just gave up and left. I overheard the family at the table next to ours complaining that the Baconator they ordered came without any bacon not surprised. We will not be returning to this location again. (Selecting dine in, even though the food took so long to be served that we had to take it to go.

We often come here when craving for a burger. The double Dave's medium combo is very filling. Some cashiers are friendly and others not so much. The restaurant was recently remodeled and looks expectacular, very modern. Good place to bring your hungry kids for a fast and tasty meal.

Ordered DoorDash, spent $30 on two breakfast meals and they sent us a sandwhich with literally just a bun. I called and asked them about it and they said we ordered it like that. Even if the DoorDash app said that, even though I checked my receipt and it said everything on it, not the DoorDash driver or the restaurant took the two minutes to call and verify. I called the manager and she said I could take time to come there just so she could prove me wrong and see the receipt but didn’t offer a replacement. The reason I ordered DoorDash was so I didn’t have to go out. No thanks. Thankfully DoorDash gave me my credit.

530pm on a Saturday afternoon and all the dining room doors were locked. I'm not going to stand outside in the cold with my 4 year old and bang on the door to get someone's attention. We're just going to go somewhere else.

We had some dinner at this location, Magali the manager is phenomenal she takes good care of us, good service!!!
