New China Chinese - Carpentersville

I love the food. That's the only Chinese food I'm going to go to. I and my family have been going to this place for years. I recently moved and did not find any Chinese food place. It's worth it. Words cannot describe how amazing the food is.

We went here with high hopes fired by all glowing reviews. But we were disappointed. I really like DID. They compensated for the egg drop soup that was just terrible. The vegetable rolls were simply good/fine. The Singapore Noodles and the Lo Mein were good, not great. Great service/nice people who work there. Edit: The Singapore noodles and Lo Mein were heated much better the next day.

It's surreal. Go within you are limited to the limits of the entrance lobby, flanked by tables on all sides. A friendly but tired woman welcomes you and places your order. She can feel that she is tired, but she is determined and is always friendly. It is surreal to see the impact of pandemic on small businesses like this. Nevertheless, they manage to remain open and deliver the best Chinese food in the Fox River Valley. Unlike the world's corporate restaurants, this place feels like home.

Best all around Chinese food place. Some have bigger portions but not as good taste. Some slightly better taste but small portions. This is the best meal and the owners are very friendly.
