Bidra med feedbackOrdered soy garlic fried chicken and tobokki for takeaway- prompt service, really good cuts of chicken. The only thing I would fault was the fried chicken sauce was too salty, probably will try the original next time. Also highly recommend adding potato noodles to your tobokki!
How good is Hankki? My friend Jo heard good things about the place so we chose it for our first ever meal in Carnegie. And we chose super well with this bustling Korean eatery. Probably the best KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) we’ve had in Melbourne and with proper, authentic Korean flavours. As we’ve both been to Korea and dined plenty there, we can attest to this with some confidence.
4 of us went there for lunch and found a gem of a Korean restaurant.<br/ <br/ Service was warm and good and so were the dishes we all ordered..<br/ <br/ My spicy chicken on rice was a mere $10 $2 for extra fried egg on top. Well priced and yummy!
Lovely Korean restaurant in the heart of the busy Koornang Rd central Carnegie.<br/ Part of the Hankki $10 Lunch Special from 11:30am 3:00pm daily. Tender Marinated Beef BBQ and Vegetables with Rice. Plus one asian Samosa, Octopus Ball and scoop of mashed potatoes. <br/ Cheap eats at its best⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀<br/ : Beef (Bul Go Gi) with Rice
Located 1 minute away from Carnegie Station, this restaurant is our go to place to satisfy our cravings for Korean food. Whenever we come here, we always order the sundae and spicy galbi jeongol in little spicy. We’ve had these two dishes for at least 4 times now and it never disappoints. The spicy marinated beef comes in three different levels of spiciness. If you cannot handle your spiciness, go with the little spicy~ Although we got the little spicy, it could be spicy at times however the sweetness of the onions balances it out. You could tell the beef has been marinated for a long time, as the juiciness and wholesome of flavours could be tasted with every bite. The beef is also so tender, that it falls right off the bones. The sundae is always our favourite! It’s difficult to find good sundae in Melbourne but Hankki does it well~ These two dishes are highly recommended if you decide to drop by. This time, we also ordered the mul naengmyeon because it was a humid day. It really helped us cool down prior to downing the blood sausages and spicy marinated beef. We will definitely be back once again!
