Bidra med feedbackThe service was terrible. I ordered a shrimp cocktail, but the shrimp appeared to be raw, almost like they had been left out overnight. I spoke with the waitress, who then brought over another woman, presumably a manager. When I expressed my concerns, she informed me that the shrimp were meant to be served that way. I insisted that I wanted them cooked properly, but her response was that if they were cooked more, they would become tough and unenjoyable. Frustrated, I decided to leave without finishing my meal. Overall, I had a very disappointing experience.
This is the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Each of the four of us ordered something different, and we all raved about the quality. We tried the poblano relleno, camarones en crema, mole enchiladas, and a combo plate. We barely had any leftovers; it was just too good to stop eating even when we were full. I can't wait to come back! The Spanish rice was amazing!
If you're a vegetarian, be aware that their beans are cooked with lard and their rice is prepared in chicken broth (the staff is quite open about this, thankfully). This means your options are limited to a quesadilla appetizer or a build-your-own tostada.
Parking: There's no street parking on the main Street. Fortunately there's free parking around the block and across the street Kid-friendliness: There's a changing table in the bathroom. Very convenient.
After golfing stopped by for lunch and had a great lunch. They have mini meals with smaller mains which is great for me. I don't eat as much as I used to. My daughter had a flour tortilla with steak she loved. The guacamole was very good. Our meals came with enough sour cream and guacamole to have some with each bite. My husband wasn't in food mood. He ordered a chocolate milkshake. He's very picky about milkshakes and said this was excellent.
