Bidra med feedbackHad a seasonal sickerdoodle latte, dark frying over, lemon muffin and a blueberry shower. The coffee and the food were great. We want to come back.
Nice cafe at Barnyard Shopping Centre. I ordered a black coffee dark roasts. I wanted to roast medium, but they ran out at that time. I usually prefer medium roasts, but I was really surprised how delicious this dark roast was. It wasn't bitter at all. They had some delicious looking pastries and chilled snack food, but I was back to the valley and just wanted a coffee. Barista was nice and friendly. The shop is clean with many window seats.
I've been in this coffee shop for the last few weeks, on my way to work. My usual order consists of a small honey lavender latte with non-fat milk. I must say that the taste of the latte is quite amazing compared to other coffee shops I had. The sweet girls I helped have great service compared to the other locations. And finally, the ambience of the coffee shop is a fantastic one. If I had time and lived closer, I would definitely pass with my laptop, sit down and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee.
Probably the best coffee in Carmel (emphasis on in Carmel . If you are a bay area transplant and looking for a Blue Bottle alternative, try Acme in Seaside or Captain Stoker in Montrrey. That 's where real coffee connoisseurs seem to flock. (I 'm not a coffee expert. One interesting factoid I found is the roasting facility is indeed in Carmel Valley but they have no storefront in the valley. Surprisingly, another local coffee shop is pretty much next door in the same shopping complex in the valley and they don 't get the beans from this roastery. It would be literally few steps. Instead, they get it shipped from a roastery somewhere else. Speaking of fierce competition! In such a homely little rural town too! I wonder if this company used to have a coffee shop at the same spot where the other coffee shop is now operating. ? They don 't get much business as there is no tourist traffic in the valley. The owners of this roastery seemed like an enterprising kind of couple so I 'm guessing they felt the valley had no real market. After all, it 's likely that most of Carmel residents have a top of the line Breville (or even a Simonelli at home. The real business comes from tourists.
I had an iced lavender almond milk latte it was delicious. We went to the one in the centre of Carmel and it was super busy . The only annoying thing was the staff were quite aggressive about tips.
