Uptown Cafe - Carmel

Cute lunch place. BLT wasn't very impressive and I wish they had fries.

I love their home made biscuits.Parking: Kind of hard to find parking on the weekends

Food is always good. Their in house hot sauce is awesome.But the service here is not just good it's great. I come here pretty often. The entire staff is nice and out-of-their-way helpful. I'm not sure how every single employee is so outwardly nice and effortlessly glad to help, but here it's true.One time I didn't have a hair tie for my daughter. One staff member found me one. Another time I left my LV sunglasses on the table. The server ran out to my car before I left the lot to return them.These are just off the top of my head. They make great conversations with my daughter and they make it a great environment.Kid-friendliness: In review

Overall experience positive. Quality of food was very disappointing, taste was not good. Cleanliness not so great. Customer service was great.
