Bidra med feedbackHad another amazing meal at traditional no8. I just tried the biggest fish they have and it was delicious. Even though you have to wait for it to be cooked fresh, it is definitely worth it.
After speaking with Luke over the phone, we decided to visit Whitland on March 1st, which happened to be St. David's Day, Pancake Day, and our wedding anniversary. We were in search of gluten-free options and fresh fish and chips, as well as a table for two. Luke went above and beyond, having a lovely table prepared for us with the freshest cooked chips and fish served elegantly. The flavors were amazing and the portions were just right. We highly recommend this fantastic fish and chips restaurant for quick takeout meals or for a special dining experience. The food and service were both five stars.
The fish and chips at this restaurant are fantastic! They serve freshly fried potato chips and hand-battered fish that are absolutely delicious. The staff was very helpful when we called ahead with our dietary requirements. Each item is fried separately, so there is no risk of cross-contamination. The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are generous. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained.
We a been told that Hey Vegan supplied pies to Traditional No.8 in Whitland so after along fun day out at Folly Farm we dropped in. We were shocked when asked what vegan options they had to be told the full menu was available in a vegan option Slight wait but that was purely as the food was prepared fresh, no cross contamination between vegan and non vegan plus they can deal with coeliac and other requirements. The vegan orders marked with a sticker so no trying to figure out which was which. The food was piping hot and delicious definitely would drop in again for take out.
This restaurant is the best we’ve found in Wales! Really tasty dish and chips. Loads of other dietary options and happy to tweak food to your requirements. Highly recommend the curry sauce and the churros
