Bidra med feedbackAfter many recommendations to visit this restaurant, i was pleasantly surprised by the food and atmosphere that was given at Giro d'italia. <br/ <br/ Upon arrival, we were greeted by the chefs contagious smile and very prompt service by the floor staff. As it was my first time dining there, we had asked for recommendations, and there is not a single item that i would be able to complain about. The food we had ordered, was simple yet takes you on a journey of flavours that makes you feel as if you were in Italy. <br/ I had left that night with a very full stomach, and a very content smile. <br/ <br/ Everything about this restaurant has been done with love, from the food to the interior to all the smiles on all the staff. I will definitely be back!
We had a lovely dining experience at Grio D'Italia and felt truly looked after, not only the warm service the food was personal, sensory and absolutely delicious. If you want a real tour of Italy via your tastebuds, I would highly recommend this place.
Delicious authentic Italian cuisine from diffetent parts of Italy, good selection of wine including wine from the tap (4 types), friendly service.
After driving past multiple times, and wondering what had just opened locally. My partner and I decided to have a little bit of a late dinner and pop in. <br/ <br/ We didn’t expect to be served as we arrived after 10pm but they were more then happy to accomodate and the service throughout the night was top notch, we were told they had only been open for a few months though the vibe and feel of the place is already so homely and warm.<br/ <br/ We ordered the Arancini, Duck Ragu Tagliatelle and Seafood Gnocchi and WOW were blown away the we couldn’t fault the pasta if we tried perfectly cooked, great amount of protein and sauce, literally melt in your mouth.<br/ <br/ They have a great array of drinks, Moretti on tap and local and Italian wines.<br/ <br/ Definitely a must visit and the new local pasta place for me.
Spotted a review in the Herald Sun recently and decided to try it out.<br/ <br/ We were shown to our seats at the bar for our dinner. <br/ <br/ We were quickly offered a pre dinner drink and told about the menu.<br/ <br/ We decided to share entrees and what a great choice the sardines and arancini balls proved to be. All food is we were told made on site and the sardines were a delicious starter. The crumb with the sardines was amazing.<br/ <br/ I opted for the pasta with tomato based sauce and seafood. What a brilliant dish. A beautiful tomato based sauce with fresh seafood prawns, calamari, mussels and pippies. Absolutely delicious. One of my fellow diners chose the special of king George whiting which was chargrilled with a tasty cauliflower accompliment. <br/ <br/ I didn’t have dessert but what my friends ordered looked delicious.<br/ <br/ This has only recently opened and first impressions were very good. The service was friendly and professional and the food we chose delicious. My friends have already booked for a regional dinner coming up in a month or so.<br/ <br/ I will certainly be back again.
