Barrel 47 - Carlton

Really good food, but plan it a bit. I took my mother for a Sunday ride and we landed back in Carlton, as it is one of my favorite cities. I have a burger that was amazing and I could hardly finish. My mother got the fish and chips and she said it was some of the best she had. This made the service quite slow, so plan to be there for a while. All were very nice and made sure our drinks were charged.

Very recommended! I love the barrel salad you could say I'm addicted. Your steak bits are great, and I don't think you can go wrong with anything else on the menu. But lately it's hit or miss. It seems that if the chef or owner is not there to ensure perfection, everything will be reduced somewhat. Not terrible, just... not the usual. I recommend it very much! All the negatives I have are due only to the extraordinary experiences I started with.

Your food is the best notch. It does not taste like the food you normally get in a bar. Everything seems fresh and high quality. The only thing I thought was the onion rings. They were still quite good, but strangely, the fried onions on their burger were jäher than their actual onion rings.

A smoked Turkey was obtained last year. It was the best I ever had. So good that I've already reserved mine for this year. And the girl on the phone that took my order was very friendly and helpful.

Love this place, good food, good service. The steak is unmatched. Everything seems fresh and real. I go out of my way just to eat here.
