Aaa Chinese - Carlton

Always tasty and always arrive hot! The munch box is delicious. Never had anything we didn’t enjoy!

Ordered a takeaway for two last night, and was told it would be ready in 30 mins. I arrived at the shop approx 30 later, only to spend another 40 minutes (no exaggeration) queuing outside in freezing cold drizzle. When I eventually got my food, there was nothing by the way of an apology from any of the staff for the long wait, yet all the time I was in there, they were continually taking telephone orders and telling customers 20 30 minutes . When I came out of the shop there was still a queue of approx 7 8 people waiting to collect their orders. Anyway, on to the food itself. I ordered Pork in Garlic Chilli and my wife ordered Thai Green Chicken Curry. Although the sauce and flavour of both dishes was ok, the actual meat in both dishes can only be described as tasteless, colourless synthetic rubbery sponge!! Never in my life have I experienced Pork like that! The chicken was exactly the same, only in bigger pieces and slightly more rubbery in texture, but neither had any resemblance at all to what they were supposed to be!! Needless to say, most of it went in the bin and we were left extremely disappointed. This was our first, and most definitely our last order from AAA...
