Lucy's Mexicali Restaurant - Carlsbad

Salsa tasted like ketchup. Enchilada plate was terrible, no taste at all. I've lived my whole life in NM and that's not authentic. Can be done, but definitely not homemade.

Food and drinks are fantastic. We refuse to go somewhere else in town! If someone is looking for a recommendation, we'll send it!

Great place to eat. Fantastic Mexican cuisine. Drinks are fantastic. For reasons Lucy is honoured as Carlsbad Caveman. She feeds the community. Yummy

The place was recommended by staff at the hotel that we were at night. At 8:45 p.m. we advised and said that they were closed, although the shield was still bright and bright open. So we didn't come to eat and the star is deception for her open hour.

I had the worst experience ever!!! The place should not be called a Mexican restaurant. They served my family pace picante sauce with chips. The waiter was super nice though. We asked for fajita plate for two. We got charged for tortillas both corn and flour. Order comes only with two tortillas. I asked for different salsa so they brought me enchilada sauce. ????? They also charged me for the two types of salsas. Nothing tasted good. Everything was so bland and don?t get me started on the rice. Wow!! So disappointed. Guys don?t even bother too expensive and not even worth the drive there. Never again!!! If I could give them negative starts they would be at a negative 5
