Fairgrounds Diner - Carlisle

The creamed chipped beef is incredibly tasty! The home fries are amazing. The Two Eggs with Toast are exactly what you'd hope for. This restaurant is consistently good. I would give it a 10 out of 10!

The omelette was perfect. However, it was disappointing that onions were forgotten. Additionally, the sausage in the gravy has been lacking in taste the last few times. It's frustrating to spend a lot of money and not be able to have these issues addressed in person at the restaurant.

The food was decent and prepared quickly. Unfortunately, they were out of the whole meal option without any attempt to inform me or offer an alternative. I only discovered this when my order arrived, resulting in a refund. If it had been a side dish, I wouldn't have minded as much, but since it was the main meal, it was disappointing.

Very disappointing experience. The patty melt was small and the French fries had clearly been fried multiple times and were still cold when I received. Had better experience with them prior, this meal was terrible.

Stopped for lunch. Good food. Generous portions. Very reasonable prices. Good selection of items on menu and daily specials. Will stop back again.
