Coco Nini's Lounge - Carlisle

This is the best Italian place in the Des Moines area. My wife and I used to be big fans of Biaggis and Latin King but by far Coco and Nini's is much better. We haven't ever had a bad experience, the staff is always friendly and the food is always phenomenal. I typically will get either the Pasta Mario or the Gnocchi Diablo and my wife usually does either the Chicken Diablo or the Penne Alexis and all 4 dishes are delicious. I don't typically enjoy thin onion rings but theirs are exceptional and are the only ones I enjoy. All around a fantastic place to eat!

Ate here passing through on a long journey home. Amazing service and atmosphere plus the food was great. Italian club was delicious and the fries where some of the best I’ve had. Talked to one of the owners and she was friendly and welcoming. Great experience.

Me and my family LOVE to go here! We go here every time we can, really friendly, almost everyone knows each other, even if you aren’t local its really easy to find everything, and they are happy to give opinions on the specials of the day and any other item on the list! Would recommend!???Parking: Parking was a little hard, (that’s because there was a track meet going on) it’s by the football stadium, and over all great place!! 5/5 stars!!

Great local restaurant. Have eaten there multiple times in the past six months. Food has been consistently good. Attentive and polite service. Daily food specials bring additional variety to an already great menu.

Awesome food and Awesome service! Some of the best Italian food in the Des Moines area.Portions are great and it tastes just like homemade. Staff is very friendly and attentive.If you haven't already tried them out, I highly suggest you do. You won't be disappointed! Yum!!!
