Bidra med feedbackWhile in the area with my parents and son, we discovered this restaurant while exploring the market. Despite the long wait for our food, it was definitely worth it. The Jungle curry I ordered was absolutely fantastic! I would choose the soup my dad had next time. We traveled up from South Staffordshire and found this restaurant to be comparable to our local Thai restaurant in Lichfield, but much more affordable.
So good, well worth a visit. Food is excellent. Staff are very helpful and 5 star food hygiene rating.
Stumbled across this little cafe in the market today and thought I'll give it a go. I ordered chicken massaman, something I always order whenever I have Thai so I've sampled A LOT. £6 thought wow that's great. Waited about 20 minutes and was only me and one or two others in which confused me but then about 20+ takeaway meals were boxed up and taken in a huge box so that explained that. Clearly a popular place for takeout! I really enjoyed it, one of the best I've had in England and really close in taste to the ones I had in Thailand. I'm glad I live in Barrow in some ways as I would be in here all the time otherwise. Little hidden gem. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Carlisle!
Basically had a plate of chicken fried rice. Was only customer. Waited 33 minutes. Actually timed it based on other reviewers' comments. Service without so much as a hint of a smile. Nothing wrong with the food. Fair price £5), portion and authentic Thai. I generally go to PadThaiStreet for Thai food in Carlisle and only came here because I was caught out hungry and without my car. Won't come again.
By far the best Thai food in Carlisle, if not best overall in Carlisle. Lovely service, can get extremely busy at times but always worth the wait.
