After a walk in Marano Lagunare, at 13:30 we were looking for a typical place to have lunch. But after knocking in three beautiful places and having found them all three exhausted tables, disappointed, discouraged and still hungry, we returned to our car, telling us that, perhaps, we would find something in the neighboring village. Not bad! Welcome, great food, excellent wine, simplicity! Fresh fish and delicious homemade desserts. To return.
Great fish dinner. I personally found the portions a little scarce. Very helpful and kind staff. Right prices for a fish dinner (about 25€ per head).
Young and kind staff. Village bar atmosphere: bright radio, young people chatting and drinking something between friends. Clean and well maintained premises, a little anonymous in the furniture. The menu is described by the waitress, there is no paper. The fish is certainly good and fresh, but in the kitchen there is some uncertainty. The maltagliati with the granciporro lacks something, an extra ledge than the capper leaves do not know how to give. Gratined appetizer is likely to be too salty for someone, as well as squid frying. Curry sauce does not release the aromas that you might expect. We avoid industrial sweets, we remain sorbets and ice cream with hot berries: pleasant, but nothing special.
Called by my sister-in-law that the week before visited this deciduous restaurant for a fish-based Saturday...I have the bad luck that my partner hates fish! Booked, I ask if I can eat outside, Gentle Sonia explains to me that there is a bit of confusion being the only place that from on the square and between aperitifs etc can bother you! I no longer have 20 years but I prefer a cheerful people so we eat out. Sonia alone ran like a poor trottola to please everyone, on the phone I had explained my problem with the partner who hates the fish so he remembered and offered us a menu of fish and one of meat (premitted the menu is not paper but only by voice but I was aware of it from previous reviews) so we decided for a plate of sliced mixed and a tartare of tuna and convour, some cut Recapturing my tartares were as spectacular as pasta with lobster.. all watered by 1 litre of sparkling wine, half liter of water, and 2 aperitifs prior to dinner, to close a coffee... we were offered a bitter or digestive that we refused politely...but the price was 110 euros...for those who know the prices of fish etc. I would say more than honest...but especially all good fish and meat! Thanks to Sonia and to the cook we spent a pleasant evening ,mangiato great and we will gladly return! If I could give 10 stars!!
