Southern Cross Sports Club - Carindale

We come to the southern cross sports club and cannot fail to make it happen. it is our local hangout. they serve 10 meals for $10 a meal and absolutely delicious. the steak is a good size and always with chips and salat tender. when these chips are cold, we recognize them and they always serve us another help with a friendly smile. children love their garlic bread or chicken pizza so guaranteed that they will eat. hubby loves her pasta court and son in law loved her färger and maische liebbling. Drinks are a little expensive for a club, but water is free! we go there to the Valentine's Day, birthdays and even melbourne Cup function. love it

They had cold chips and refused to give fresh, and a jug of soda water costs $9.50 go figure. the cold chips spoil the whole meal and the posture.

We went to this restaurant for a boar dish, but unfortunately, it was tasteless and tough. The dessert was sweet but uninspiring. The corn was very hard, as if it was old. They claimed to have run out of the main dish by 11:30 am, and we were the first ones to order it. Do better!

Dad's birthday, we ordered a lot of executions, including various steak dishes. some of the cheap menus, most from the la carte menu. the resistance is a good thing except when the chips are cold, the salat soggy and the steak underboils. my steak. should be medium, it was blue. dads was almost blue. staff well, change the cook if they want to keep their clientele

I celebrated my sister's birthday at this restaurant over dinner. She recommended it because our mother is a regular member here. We ordered a steak, 2 raviolis, and honey tempura prawns, all from the 10 for $10 menu. The portions were not large, but considering the price, we were all satisfied with our food choices. Despite living in the area for 36 years, we had never been here before, but we will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu. We also purchased a bottle of wine at a very reasonable price. The service was quick, and the staff were polite, with the exception of the girl at the front desk who initially seemed hesitant to let us in because we were not members. The club is on the smaller side, but it seems to have everything you need, including plenty of parking, pokies, tab, coffee, cake, and reasonably priced food and drinks. We may consider coming back for lunch next time.
