La Bomba - Carindale

Wanting to champion a local cafe, we visited for a quiet Sunday breakfast. Sadly all was disappointing. It started with having to hunt for a menu (eventually found one outside) and went downhill from there. We ordered drinks and food with only two staff working (one who seemed relatively new to the job). Drinks took 20 mins (and were wrong) and the food took almost an hour (and was wrong too). I'll be fair and say my meal was flavoursome, my partners was mostly cold. With other better options nearby (faster, better service and correct meals), we won't be coming back. Pity, the location has great potential.

Hi GuysThis was seriously the worst breakfast ever! Bacon seemed liked it was cooked two days prior, on a dirty griddle. Eggs, despite being asked for soft were rock hard and tiny. Toast was soggy. Had to help ourselves to tap water. No cracked pepper available. We took family. It was embarrassing.I would never go back and recommend you don't. We wanted to support a local business that we could walk to for breakfast, but won't be going back.I can say that the coffee was good. Actually to be fair, the coffee was great.

I have been to La Bomba many times for breakfast and I honestly think it's one of the best in Brisbane. The portions are generous, delicious and such good value. The bacon and egg roll is divine. The service can be a little slow but it's worth it. I am surprised to see some bad reviews as I've been here about 10 times and have always left happy.

Just happen to notice this Cafe as we were driving past and decide to give it a go. Chris (owner/chef) and his team were very friendly. We had one of the nicest chicken parmigiana, chips and salad meals we've ever had followed by amazing desert! To boot there is great view back to the city, we will definitely be back.

If one thing went wrong, EVERYTHING went wrong. Firstly, it took an hour for our first meal to come out which was ok, but not great. It then took another 20 mins for our second meal to come out and it had a big dirty hair buried in it! When we took it back up to show them, the chef came out and not only did he NOT apologise, he fought with us and insinuated that we had planted it there!!! In between all of this I went to use the bathroom, to which there was no toilet paper. When I told the waitress there was no toilet paper, she just said sorry and didn't offer to get any...I'm heavily pregnant so was in desperate need of a toilet!!! Absolutely THE WORST cafe. Terrible service on all accounts.
