The emoji says everything. we showed up for our 7:30 dinner booking; it took 1 hour for everyone to get 1 round drinks, and they did not ask if we wanted to eat until 8:45. no thanks for going somewhere else.

Hey Escobar! Do you guys actually open at 12 on Sundays or not? Planned a awesome Sunday afternoon with drinks and a relaxing walk along the river that never happened because you were mysteriously shut! So we went somewhere else that followed their opening hours.

I had an extremely disappointing night here recently. The first issue we encountered was a wait time of over half an hour for drinks to arrive at our table. The second issue was meals served without cutlery (and after politely asking the waiter for a missing fork we again waited 5 minutes before going and asking the bar staff ourselves). The calamari serving size was absolutely dismal for $14 and when we mentioned this to the waiter he said he had received this feedback before! To top it all off the toilets were in a very poor condition with no toilet paper, paper hand towels offered as a replacement and an overused cloth hand towel next to the sink. $16 for one tall bottle of beer ? Sorry, but no bar is that fabulous. We won't be going back. Nibblies were yummy and staff were super friendly. Apparently it is illegal to stand up and drink alcohol outside on the footpath next to the seating. You must stay seated if sipping your drink and you will be reminded of this if you digress.

Excellent service. Great food and wines. The signature dish was a highlight as were the beef cheeks. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
