The Robin Hood - Cardiff

Sadly, an anticipated enjoyable Sunday afternoon drink was spoiled by the in-house bar staffs' family take-over of the venue for their kids own fun, screaming and running enjoyment. Fair enough, but please make it private. Paying customers can always take their custom elsewhere to spend their money.

Our local WI chose the Robin Hood for our Christmas meal this year. 24 of us enjoyed the delicious meal, charming staff taking and bringing out our choices. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and congratulated all the whole team in the kitchen and the landlord Paul for a great time.

Love this pub, quaint, very friendly helpfull landlord Paul. Great cider wines at very reasonable prices. Staff always friendly efficient. Great lounge bar, covered beer garden at back with a lovely grape vine.Great pizzas cooked here. Always a lovely warm atmosphere welcome .

Food is all home cooked, presented well and arrives hot. The waiting staff are very friendly and accommodating. It's suitable for families and couples. The atmosphere in the evenings for a social get together is warm. This pub has a lovely spacious undercover beer garden also.

The food at this restaurant is always amazing. I couldn't resist going back for two Sunday roasts in just one month! The portions are generous and expertly cooked, with perfect meat. The seating is well spaced out and sanitized regularly. The atmosphere is wonderful and cozy, and the beer garden is comfortable.
