Bidra med feedbackIn the heart of Canton, the dough thrower was in a lovely setting with quirky décor inside. The food was lovely however the price of the pizza at £17.00 and a side of truffle chips of £7.50 I expected this dining experience to wow me. I found this very expensive and I know that Michelin star restaurants do not charge that much for a side of chips. Considering the financial crisis everyone is living in at the moment, I cannot justify the cost of the meal. Don 't get me wrong this place is definitely 'Instagram worthy ' however I will have to save my pounds for the next time I make a visit.
A overall disappointing experience. Ingredients seem to be compromised in quality compared to earlier days tomato sauce gloopy, not v tasty, olives not as good as they could be. Feeling that this establishment is cutting back on former quality which established their reputation as good pizzeria. Not cheap, either.
A bit disappointing. The pizza was burnt underneath soggy on top. Dough on the edge was nice were it wasn’t burnt though.
I don’t normally write reviews but this place was so good! so reasonably priced and the pizza tasted so fresh and i didn’t feel stodgy or run down after it like i normally do with pizzas. the cheese dough sticks were a 10/10 as well!
I visited this restaurant over the weekend with my partner and daughter. The appetizers were delicious, but the pizza was disappointing. While the dough was excellent, there was too much sauce and barely any cheese. We had to scrape off some of the sauce as it was overpowering. My daughter's pizza even had no cheese on half of it. Unfortunately, the service was lacking as well. The waiter did not check on us during the meal, and when we paid with cash and left a tip, he simply took the money and walked off without a word of thanks or goodbye. It's a shame because we won't be returning again.
