Great pud despite it majoring on food. Great real ale, lovely atmosphere at end of bar, nice to see the regulars arrive for a lunchtime pint. Very dog friendly down side **** huge tele never switched off. Lovely staff complete the picture. low score on food as I only tested the beer

Very busy pub. Food is first class and very reasonably priced. Loved it.

Been to the pub several times and just wanted to say the meals are delicious but I think you should add back the wrap as a main meal that had sour cream and salsa with sizzling chicken hopefully you remember it was about 2-3 years ago it went, l miss that. Anyways other than that the pie, burgers, gammon are tasty and the veggies especially the mash.

What a brilliant pub with excellent atmosphere! The menu is very good and lots of choice. The food came and it was very well presented, and the final plus point was the waitress Sarah who was again brilliant...well done Sarah and well done Black Griffin. Will come back again. Thanks alan

Haven't been for ages but absolutely loved it. Lunch menu good toasted salt beef and Moneyrey Jack really tasty. Ambience good though a little quiet but it was a Monday. Service on point too. Will definitely not leave it as long next time!
