Bidra med feedbackWhen pigs fly – a pork restaurant in a giant pork-shaped ceppelin. Devil’s advocaat – an occult theke served exclusively on egg-based cocktails. I therefore think that I spam – if they are looking for processed meat and philosophical discussion, then they are at the right place. I could come all day with ideas for conceptual, powder-based restaurants. but this is not the reason why they are here, they want to know about steak of art, cardiff's only steak house and art gallery. first of all, to art besides the pictures to be sold, steak of the art interior is a work of art in itself. Colorful, creative and a little cheerful, a sortiment of themenstands (doctor who, rugby and alice in the wonderland, to name a few) make it a very funny place to eat. Secondly, the steak name suppliers, including the West-Landes-based Warson farms, show that some thoughts were made when looking for decent meat. a pint of korew was hard to drink and a strong selection of craft shops from the bristol beer factory were also present. at the beginning, a floating meatboard looked out part and tasted generally good, but it was abandoned by some moderate elements. smooth chicken liver parfait was served with zwiebel chutney, a smoked sausage was lightly generic, and olives and capern were excellent. venison pork salami and bark meat, both of which were mentioned on the menu, were replaced by a few generous slices of delicate brisket and a disappointing slide made exclusively of a bungalow and an excessive patty.
Absolutely loved the experience here food was fantastic won't be our last visit.
This Place is Amazing, I don't know what these previous reviews are on about. I like to eat twice a month with my Partner and this is by Far the best steak in Cardiff. The Service was impeccable. The Manager on Duty, Was so passionate about the Restaurant. We both had Ribeyes. They were cooked beautifully to the point I was upset when I finished. I was told I was being a Queen. Thanks guys for a wonderful Evening, We will be back soon.
The staff had the opportunity to wow us as the restaurant was quiet because of the Friday evening sun but instead chose to ignore us and chat. There was never more then 4 tables in the restaurant yet staff were just stood around chatting. For a restaurant charging the prices that it does you expect certain things; they did not deliver. We had to open and pour our own wine, no one checked on our starters, no one checked on our main, after our plates were cleared we could not get anyone’s attention and had to pay at the door. We removed the service charge as it was not deserved. I had booked this thinking it would be nice to try a smaller steak restaurant but I wish we had gone to Miller and Carter. This restaurant is trying to be something it clearly isn’t. The service comes nowhere near the price.
The steak was tough and chewy, definitely not worth the high price. It was difficult to cut and left my hand feeling sore.
