Park House - Cardiff

Had a business lunch with 3 colleagues. The food was excellent, as was the setting. My only personal gripe is that in a setting such as The Parkhouse with ornate panelling, fireplaces, plasterwork, etc., I find the background music in the restaurant irritating and incongruous. Nevertheless it will not stop me returning soon.

What a fantastic evening my husband and I had on sat 26 th April. Very romantic and special. The food was amazing. We had the spring taster menu with the matched icon wines. It was delicious. Beautifully presented. The flavours were delicious and the wines were superb. Perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. we had 9 courses all inc 2 dessert wines cos we had 2 desserts iand we were not too full cos they were small dishes. We had canapés to start followed by tuna loin starter with cloudy bay wine then crab croquette starter with 3 diff vintages of Riesling then quail main with a Pinot noir then beef with snail bon Bon! With an amazing Shiraz All delicious then cheese then 1 st dessert then a lemon dessert. Absolutely fantastic!

We would highly recommend the food was outstanding. We have been before and our friends joined us on this occasion and would definitely return. A

Amazing venue that immediatly makes you feel you are somewhere special. Great taster menu with some interesting ingredients. The service is superb and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and well looked after. superb evenig, look forward to returning soon.
