Juboraj Lakeside - Cardiff

My sister and I visited Juboraj Lakeside on Saturday night. We both agree that this restaurant serves one of the best Indian meals in Cardiff. The location alone and simple parking makes the experience from the start, better than you average high street restaurant. The food was delicious with decicate spices through each course. The lamb biryani and vegetables curry that accompanied her was a triumph. My sister chooses a chicken Bhoona. Many juicy rich sauce with a fragrant Pilaureis. I could go on. Oh! And the staff was wonderful that we felt very welcome as it was 22.00 hours away before we arrived. We have this restaurant on our radar now, it is a must, value for money 100% fantastic and plentiful,

Visits on Sunday evening in June. Restaurant more business when I saw it before. Sheekh Kebab Starter was delicious enough, but needed to be served warmer. Main dish of chickens Vindaloo, cooked rice and paratha. General portions and Vindaloo hot and spicy. I thought the meal was overpriced. Large cobra is just under £6. Overall for a meal as above with 2 bottles of Cobra was £33.50. (See picture of the invoice). After saying that the establishment and location of the restaurant are beautiful. Probably a forgiveness instead of an everyday curry.

Was very nice, we enjoyed the food there and the staff was friendly and helpful. They were very busy and managed to get good in good time

I love Indian food and I must say is not very impressive if you are looking for an authentic Indian food. The dishes are very oily and perhaps it is the reason why they are good at the time, but you will suffer with outrage for the next 24 hours, although I cannot come over fired or tandori dishes. But if you are hungry and you enjoy eating large portions it could be good space for you.

Although the food is really nice it's over priced. Myself and partner called here. I had no problem with the service. But I can't sing and dance about it either although it was fine. Food was nice. Tasty and more than acceptable. Drinks nice and cold with a decent choice. But here is my major gripe. A service charge. Being a tipper when I get good service my opinion of any restraunt charging service charge is well....cheeky! Like I said you don't be disappointed with food how ever there are other Indian restraints around the area which you will get food of the same if not better quality along with better service and a healthier bank balance at the end.
