Coffee#1 Albany Road - Cardiff

Good enough place in my experience. However, I found that if you sat behind the partition between the serving area and the seating and when the staff were talking with each other the sound echoed off the top of the partition and was distracting. Wonder how much they could hear the other way around.

The manager here is constantly rude, obnoxious, and unnecessarily loud. She seems to think that being unprofessional comes with her manager title. Really puts me off returning to this branch, I was with friends who also mentioned they would not be returning. The branch on Wellfield road is much more organised, with friendly welcoming staff which I have now decided to become a regular at. I understand having a bad day on occasion, we all have bad days, but to constantly be rude and act above everyone is simply poor customer service.

Staff are rude which puts me and friends off coming. It is understandable that there are rules and regulations but the staff, especially the manager, fail to maintain professionalism.

The assistant manager (Sergio) was extremely loud and rude. The other member of staff I spoke to wasn't much better. I would never go here again

Went in yesterday, and today I was totally put off by the smell of Wet Dog. This is where I normally meet friends and business acquaintances but today, and yesterday’s experience was awful. It spoilt the atmosphere and my meeting. To be honest, I wasn’t the only customer that was put off. Whilst sitting at a table in front of the cafe, a few people came in and queued for a minute before walking out and commenting on the smell. Not a place to visit if your not accompanied by a dog.
