La Menino - Carcassonne

We've eaten here numerous times in the past 3 or 4 years and have returned due to excellent fare at an excellent price. Our latest visit was almost as good as previous visits. The service is still excellent and the waitresses are most pleasant. The...site,close to Carcassonne airport and the Zone Industriale is very handy. We had the E15 set course menu which has slightly increased in price this year. The standard buffet has remained at a similar standard to previous visits as has the dessert. However, the mains have diminished in quality. We had a pork stew surrounded by frites and a veal fricasee, tasty but not up to the same standard as previously due to the portion being overloaded with chips or potato. This is still excellent value in a local workman's environment and still worth attending. At E15, you can't complain. Unusually, beer prices are not inflated and wine included in the price. Not so for our most recent visit but we've seen people turned away so the hint is to arrive at noon. There is indoor and outdoor seating and parking becomes tight the longer you arrive after noon. The experience here is very good for the price.

We were greeted by the smiling faces of the staff who showed us into a clean comfortable restaurant. We were offered choices of four menus, all of which we could have eaten. The food arrived promptly and was really nice and tasty. We had three...food courses, coffee and a couple of glasses of wine all for 15 euros. Great

Restaurant familial avec des produits frais du terroir et de saison. Petit buffet pour les entrées à volonté. Entrée plat du jour dessert carafe de vin café pour 15 euros. Serveuse souriante et accueillante. Ouvert que le midi. Repas agréable sans chichi et très bon. merci

Je ne connaissais pas et je suis agréablement surprise de cet endroit.Un buffet d'entrée bien sympa, un plat vraiment délicieux : lasagnes fruits de mer et un bon dessert aussi.Donc vraiment satisfaite et je reviendrai plutôt 2 fois qu'une.Allez y les yeux fermés.
