We returned ti this well liked restaurant after a gap of a few years and it was immediately obvious it had changed hands. First impressions were very good. The elegant yet comfortable interior had been upgraded without losing its charm. The staff were smartly dressed, friendly and attentive. We were a little surprised to find that such an upmarket venue had only menus in Spanish. My husband and I both speak the language so for our party it was no problem but it does not encourage travellers from other countries. The first course was a series of four different tasters which were enjoyable and well presented. The main course, however, [we had ordered steaks] came in the form of a piece of steak which had been seared on the outside and then cut into small fillets. This came with a hot stone on which we were invited to finish the cooking to our own preference. A good idea. However at over 30 euros a head it would have been more enjoyable if a few vegetables, a dish of carrots or courgettes, perhaps, had been offered to go with the meat! Choice of deserts was a bit limited but well presented and tasty. We unfortunately had to send one of our coffee cups back as it had a crack all down the side A great deal of money is being spent on the outside of the restaurant but it was a pity that the locks on the ladies toilet doors which were both faulty had not been repaired!! Our overall impression was that although the food presented was good, a bit more thought could have made the whole experience better..[We used to be in the restaurant trade so perhaps we are a bit more critical than most]

Extremely well renovated and decorated old building. Simply magic. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Ask to talk with Ruben, the executive chef muy simpatico.

Visited this restaurant for a friends birthday. We chose the menu del dia which was excellent. Service and surroundings were very good. Could not fault it, and will certainly visit again, and if the weather is hot enough, we will enjoy the exterior.

Excellent treatment and excellent quality price! We've been delighted, we'll be back!
