Il Villaggio Cafe

First, this place really is in Crespi d'Adda, the very interesting industrial village. The village is worth a look, and if you're there, this restaurant is the place to eat. (Not the only place, just the better place. I had the special, torte with salad and fried potatoes, desert, and 1/2 mineral water for 15 Euros. The service is not expert but it is friendly, and everyone pitches in to look after the customers. I ate in the terrace at the back of the place, there are also tables inside.

We had had a long walk to Crespi d’Adda only to find everything closed except for this restaurant . We also faced a long walk back to the main road and the bus for Bergamo so we were delighted to find this place . We had a meal , drinks and coffee and a friendly reception and felt well fortified for the return journey .

We arrived while the staff prepared the closing room, but despite this they still welcomed us and we could order. pizzas were good and were prepared very quickly. definitely satisfied with the experience
