Bidra med feedbackThe food here was awesome and the staff were very friendly. The prices are pretty good for Capri and our overall experience was really great 10/10!
Only wanted to take a quick look inside this top floor restaurant. But as soon as the Maître d saw us he quickly ushered us inside. He sat us at a nice table for two. After perusing the menu, I found prices to be over the top. We decided to have a drink each and share a pizza salad with a side order of fries. A simple small undressed salad consisting of rocket leaves tomato 's was 12 Euros. The smallest bowl of chips which they initially forgot was 8 Euro 's. The meal was satisfactory, however we had to request, olive oil balsamic vinegar for salad dressing. Also requested tomato sauce for chips which they finally provided after chips almost consumed. On receiving bill we noticed an additional 10 Euro charge for Coperto This was explained as a service charge. On top of that they then hit you up for another compulsory 12% Sevizio charge. They then had the audacity to request a tip on top of that which I declined. There a nicer restaurants on the island which don 't charge the additional service fees.
On a visit to Capri from the cruise ship we spotted this lovely looking restaurant as we walked past that looked very busy but decided to see if there was a table available. Upon asking we then realised there was another floor above with tables available so if you're visiting and it looks too busy don't be afraid to ask. Now obviously we are in the right place for it but I enjoyed the best simplest fresh pizza I have ever tasted. We also enjoyed some incredible pasta. We were extremely well looked after by our waiter Dominic(Matt Lucas lookalike) who had us laughing throughout lunch with his Italian/English banter. If you are looking for a nice lunch whilst visiting Capri I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
There are better places, the food is good but it is very expensive, the waiters are very impatient and angry if it is not as they say, they do a bad advice when asking about the dishes, the waiters are reckless and fight in the place.
Restaurant on several floors, we were on the third floor, tranquille and little people, overlooking the square of Anacapri, we ate 2 pizzas with 2 glasses of wine and 2 drinks, we paid about 67 euros. I personally do not find it excessive, considering that a buffalo pizza (with buffalo mozzarella and not the stracchino) cost 17 euros each, in Brescia oscillates between 12/16, therefore I would say the right prices for the place and the quality. A small note 8 euro a glass of still wine...ni.
