Bidra med feedbackThe setting and views are world class. The food was very good, some of it excellent (seared scallops). Unfortunately, when it came time to pay with a credit card, the server handed me the machine and indicated that I should enter a tip. I was too flustered to say that I chose not to leave a tip, so I pressed the green button, thinking this would be clear enough. Instead, the server CANCELED THE TRANSACTION, re-entered it, and handed the machine to me again, pointing: “for the tip.” I reluctantly gave about 10% in order to avoid any more awkwardness. I have NEVER been pressured to leave a tip in this way, anywhere in Europe. I can only assume that this server counted on me being an uninformed American who is used to tipping in restaurants. It was crass and tacky and spoiled what would otherwise have been a very pleasant experience.
Beautiful view, but only average food. We experienced a number of times during our Italy trip that often a beautiful view means less than stellar food. Everything we had here was fine. Just fine.
There aren’t enough words to explain the amazing lunch experience. To begin, the location is spectacular overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The staff were so accommodating and professional. Johnny was exceptional. Then of course the food! Delicious, creative and fresh. It is worth the trip!
Really nice location with view on the foul. impeccable service. the good course yes, but honestly I thought better, do not respect the expectations I had based on what I was told. in particular a dish of totally insipid squids that knew nothing. It is also true that an evening and a course do not make a text, so I repeat in the future to return.
