Il Vecchio Borgo - CAPOLIVERI

We arrived there yesterday 6th of August and asked for a table. No problem they sweety it up and before sitting down I asked where the toilet was. It's out of order they said. So they didn't tell it to us before. I could have called the police some you can't run a restaurant or bar or pub or cafe without toilet. Anyway we left immediately the place and they even got mad telling that it wasn't their fault!

Pizza was good and kids liked it but risotto was just not even presentable, with a glimpse of seafood taste and a frozen prawn on it. When told, waitress told it was just for show … not acceptable!

Great place in the right middle of the picturesque village of Capoliveri. We had a delicious pizza and entertain ourselves with people watching. Staff was very friendly and welcoming and prices fair.

We had a reservation for 930pm after a friend's recommandation to go eat here in the quaint town of Capoliveri on the island of Elba. Situated in a lively neighborhood, with most of the shops open till midnight! we ordered our food and wine from a friendly waiter. From bruschette al pomodore, to filletto di tonno to grilled swordfish. All nicely prepared and seasoned. My tagliatelli with shrimps was very good; The bill came to 274 euros (for 9 persons).
