Baia Del Sole - CAPOLIVERI

Thanks to it’s position on the beach, it was the closest restaurant to our sunbeds and so it was the first choice to have lunch at. The meals we had weren’t anything special, they were just good, neither extraordinary, nor disastrous.

The restaurant is located on a magnificant location direct on the beach. With such a great location you would expect great food but unfortunately the quality of the food was really poor. The starter was an antipasti platter with meat slices which came out of plastic packaging from the supermarkt. Olives from the can which taste like nothing. This is absolutly not Italian style and quality. Also the main dish; pasta with fish was not good; crab was smelly, mussels were small and dry. The pizza's were okay but very little toppings

We have often been to Lido beach but never before in Baia del Sole at dinner. This time we had bad weather that didn't allow for bathing and therefore we ate pizza in a group of friends there. All were very satisfied, the pizzas can only be recommended.

For the location you do not discuss, beach front, for food leaves a little to want. We had dinner with an octopus appetizer, and all right. First we got Spaghetti in the drain. I expected a little rustic pasta of selected durum wheat, now accustomed to particular pastes, where even if it escapes cooking always remain to the tooth, instead they arrived common spaghetti of wheat and insipid, and the fish did not seem fresh but frozen. Prices in standard. To recommend to friends, even not, if you do not want to lose friends.

I don't understand the reviews. I found nice, friendly and helpful people. Among other things he ate a really good pizza. I'm not able to judge catering. the beach is very relaxing.
