The Cook House - Capitola

The sausage and hashbrowns were great. Eggs not done medium though as requested. The food server was very friendly but way too perky. Maybe she shouldn't have had morning coffee. Oh, And coffee was just warm...even the refills. Furniture is old and dingy and in desperate need of being refinished along with the kitchen door which looked gross. Too expensive for this run down place!

If you want a really good place for comfort food, this is it. Great prices, everyone is treated like family, great food and great service. I will be back.

Service was great but food was just average though. Very tiny inside, kind of cramped with just a few tables very close together, there is bar seating too.

Down home feel of a traditional breakfast joint. Friendly and inviting staff. Traditional breakfast of two eggs, hash browns and toast for $10 was worth it. Otherwise most omelets were $17 and up which seemed excessive .
