Bidra med feedbackWhat an experience. We ordered for take away. Prim takes you down an exquisite culinary journey, awakening taste buds you didn’t know you had.Well done Indian Chapter. Yes, we did over order.
If you are looking for tasty and authentic Indian cuisine .. this is the place for you. Intimate.. cozy and unpretentious… the aromas of good cooking wafting through. Attentive staff to assist with everything from friendly greeting to swift service for drinks and food. Remember they are unlicensed so bring your own wine. Can purchase wine at the Tops Spar just a short walk away. I’ve been dining here for some years before they moved from a larger premises. Due to Covid the restaurant had to move smaller but still serves the most delectable curries and food aimed to please .. the most discerning palate. Our most favorite dishes include the pashwari naan, korma, butter chicken, biryani, samosas, Chinese style hot chicken and garlic naan … but everything is always good. Prim Reddy is phenomenally enigmatic and full of life. She certainly is the heart of this small world and delivers with heartfelt warmth if you are lucky to see her. I highly recommend her cookbook Temptations! Worlds best seller and when you buy it for less than R350 you will see why. Page through and see for yourself the love and passion she has for cooking. I love that there are some South African dishes she’s adapted too. Don’t expect a fancy decor … this is the real deal. Heartfelt and humble .. an absolute delight !
Very tasty food and good value for money. Much smaller than their previous location around the corner, but still excellent Indian cuisine. At the time of our visit (early Dec '21) they were waiting on their liquor license, but customers are welcome to bring their own wine.
Absolutely, the best Indian curry food restaurant near by. Wow, We cant go out and my family, the kids and wife has been nagging me, where can we go or order take away Indian food for delivery. We ordered a variety of chicken and lamp curry-meals. I had to collect the food and wow? My wife and kids was in heaven when I returned with the food. As I drove home I could not stop myself from digging into the take away container so I dipped my finger into the chicken sauce. That was amazing people ! In short, I you live along the west coast on the N7 say maybe in Melkbos strand, Milnerton, Tableview, Blouberg then you in luck. The Indian Chapter restaurant is situated just off the beach road in Blouberg strand easy access to parking right in front of the shop. They serve the most delicious indian-curry food meals and I have also had the opportunity to meet The Owner on a previous visit to the restaurant. She is lovely lady and made me feel at home instantly. I would definitely recommend anybody to go and try out the food and I am not event talking about sitting down. The vibe is most relaxing, viby and shill out music to easy your mood. Great service to guys and a special thank you to the Owner. We love your food very much, says my wife !!! Best Indian restaurant in cape town in the northern suburb. Thank you. Vernon A
My partner and I come here at least once a week it’s our favourite date night. Delicious food, attentive service and cozy vibe. It’s BYOB with no corkage how dreamy! We always start with a samoosa each because why wouldn’t we?! They’re a decent portion of potato and peas and very tasty. My partner tries various lamb curries each week and I, the vegetarian curries although I’m sure all their dishes are spectacular. We usually go for the garlic naan to share (massive) but tonight we shared the peshwari naan which is coconut and cashew, very tasty could be a meal! 10/10 recommend Indian Chapter, we love it and can’t imagine eating curry else where.
