Hibachi was fun. Waitress kept telling us it was shift change and was rushing us to leave. As a result I did not tip. She proceeded to ask, No tip? , very loudly and rudely. Overall not a good experience.
The building itself has a nice ambiance and is well arranged. The customer service was horrible, we had a young Asian waitress who was extremely rude and seemed as if she didn’t wanna be bothered with us, our cook however was friendly but the food was made terribly and he just threw it on our plates like slobs he gave us so much rice or filled the entire plate and just threw everything on top which disgusted me. I’ve never experienced such terrible hibachi. The rice was disgusting mushy and had no flavor. I would never go back! Then at the end when it was time to pay they took 20 minutes to bring our change and when we asked they yelled hold on. I am a person who typically tips extremely well. I wanted all of my honestly, we left most of the food. I would not recommend to anyone and I most definitely will not return.
Had a wonderful experience at Watami. The server was very sweet, and the food was so good! We highly recommend this restaurant!
Food was delicious, and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. They have a robot that delivers the food to the table for the waitress. It was so chill!
