El Sol - Cape Girardeau

Visit from Colorado, and I must say that this place has exceeded my expectations at every level! Food was amazing, especially her queso fundido! Your potato chip nachos are so delicious, I ordered them as my main dish. The beverage specialities are the best, with the best margarita and beer prices in the city!!! In any case will come back! Great staff, thanks for good service!!

El Sol is so good that we travel almost an hour to visit every couple of months. We have many Mexican restaurants much closer, but El Sol is worth the drive. Great chips and salsa, awesome hand made guacamole, $3 margaritas, $1 tacos on Tuesdays. You have to try the pineapple fajitas a very unique dish. Outdoor seating available.

The best Mexican restaurant in Cape Girardeau, MO! Walking distance from the SEMO campus and they treat you like family. Haven’t you heard? $2 Marg on Mondays and $1 Tacos on Tuesday. RUN don’t walk.

I ordered the enchiladas beef and chicken. It wasn’t what I was expecting. The chicken one sucked, the beef ones were alright, but way to sweet. I won’t be ordering from here again. Thanks but no thanks
