Bidra med feedbackI ate here for my anniversary dinner, we came in a little late, an hour before close. Despite this, food was amazing. That bread and oil is literally to die for. We had a Verona pizza and the pollo di Gouda (I believe is what it was called) and they were also amazing, respectively… nothing on that bread and oil, but very delicious. We also ended up getting a free dessert from our waitress, and we paid for an extra. The chocolate torte was so rich and creamy. The tiramisu was HUGE and great for the price. Now let’s talk about the star of the show. The waitress. I can’t remember her name but she had a broken finger. She was so personable. Easily the best wait staff I have ever had. She was funny, checked on us consistently. She seemed to really enjoy her job and made this dining experience so memorable. I think the rest of the staff was ready for us to go, one woman even made a somewhat snarky remark, but she made us feel so welcome while we finished our meal. She chatted with us and made sure we enjoyed our experience. I tipped her roughly 50% of my bill and she was worth every penny.
Had a great dinner here with some new friends. Great atmosphere, still well decorated for Christmas. Food was fantastic, the bread was home made and very good, I had the spaghetti with meat sauce. 2 of my friends had the fettuccine Alfredo to split and it was brought out in separate plates for them. We lost track of time and stayed past closing, and they never said a word. There was no rush to get us out...will have to go back there again and try some other dishes.
I took my niece there for dinner. My shrimp fettuccine and her pizza were delicious and the table bread was homemade, freshly baked and warm, and the best restaurant bread I've ever had. Our waitress was very nice and checked on us often to see how we were enjoying everything. The only unsatisfactory part of dinner was that we were the only black people there and the older white customers constantly stared at us so that made it a bit uncomfortable so we rushed to finish and leave, but I'll definitely be back for the amazing food, bread, and nice service!
Such a disappointment!! Lived in the area for 18 yrs, have heard good things but never tried it. Finally decided too.....literally the most bland food either of us had ever eaten in our entire lives! We were expecting at least a mild garlic flavor, it being an Italian restaurant and all. Nope. Zero garlic flavor. Honestly, zero flavor at all!! We had to salt and pepper everything just to make it at all palatable. Olive Garden beats them hands down on all the levels!!!!!! Love supporting small family owned establishments, but super disappointed in this one. Unfortunately will not be going back.
It’s nothing special and on a Saturday, they have a limited lunch menu. Oddly, they have a Chicken Parm sandwich, but no Chicken Parm entree. Wife got the lobster bisque. It was basically cheese soup. We both tasted it and agreed no lobster taste or meat. Pizza was “ok”. Nothing special. Bread was delicious. Oil was on the table, but no balsamic vinegar.
