I had a meal there last week for the first time. My friend and I wanted to do a wine tasting before we purchased a bottle. The server very nicely brought us over samples and as we were sampling them a guy came from across the room straight at our table in a loud voice yelling “we don’t do wine tasting samples” staring directly at me with dagger eyes. He didn’t even have the courtesy to say hello first before yelling and embarrassing the server and being so rude. I abruptly answered him as I was looking at the wine samples “you don’t”??? I have been to several several restaurants over my lifetime, and I have never ever experienced such a rude encounter,! I found out that he was the actual new owner of this place, and all I could say is I can’t imagine what type of work environment these employees have if he displays this type of behavior in public, I can’t imagine what he does behind closed doors !!! I don’t think he will be very successful displaying that type of demeanor and behavior. We will never go back again. The food was OK.

We went to Luigi’s ristorante for dinner and what an amazing experience! The food was delicious! The service was excellent! The owner was present and attentive to everyone’s needs! I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion, date night, or just for anyone who loves GREAT food! This place checks every box! Loved it!

We have known the restaurant for many years (back then still run by Moretti) and hope that the cuisine returns to where it once was in terms of taste. The pasta (Alfredo with scampi and linguine with scampi, salsiccia, truffle oil) was tasty, but lacked spices and that special Italian touch that has always made the restaurant special. The price/performance ratio is therefore not entirely consistent, especially since card payments are also charged extra. Ambiance is nice, but some small repairs to the windows are necessary. Tables set with white tablecloths and a friendly personal welcome from the owner.
