Cactus Mexican - Cape Coral

May 2019 Cactus, Hancock Bridge PKWY, Cape Coral, Fl., Here are my 2 cents on the food and chatter. My meal was delivered via Bissquad. It was fast and hot. I order 2 tacos and a chili rellenois meals. Unfortunately, no one makes freshly roasted tacos. The shells are all prefabricated. Right here, but they're perfect. My meal... I'll say it was better than most in the area. Fresh hot flour tortillas on the side. Well flavored rice... a beautiful avocado top salad.. Add a delicious Chili Rellenois properly cooked. They also gave me slices of Jalapeno and a spicy green salsa. It tasted house made. All a good filling. Cactus,Hancock Bridge Parkway, Cape Coral, Fl. Here are my 2 cents on my meal and Chit Chat. I have lunch special of 3 sopes, 8.99. She never had that before. But first you get hot chips made with house salsa. Unfortunately, they dug it down for the wimpy taste buds here in Florida. Good taste only not very Mexican original spicy. Sopes are similar to a tostada. Besides this tortilla is about 1/4 inches thick. Then add meat and etc above.. It tasted good after I woke it up with hot sauce. I just didn't like the soft texture of the base. A great staff. Very accommodating. I'll be back for other things.

I decided to give this restaurant a chance, but I was disappointed with the $4.00 chips and salsa that had no taste, no salt, and no cilantro. They claim to be authentic, but the tacos were stale and lacked flavor as well. Although $7.99 for 7 tacos is not a bad deal, it is concerning that the restaurant has been open for two years and still lacks customers. It is clear to see why. As someone who loves Cape Coral and wants to support small businesses, I hope that Cactus can receive the help it needs in order to stay open.

The tacos weren't great - they fell apart easily because they only use corn tortillas. It's a shame.

I was recommended by the waitress to try this? Enchiladas? the plate was beautifully presented. The Enchiladas were not good at all. The meat tasted really bad! I decided this restaurant 3 stars because of the great service provided by the waitress.

A charming little restaurant with a clean atmosphere and delicious food. If you're in search of a new dining spot, give Cactus a try.
